LITTLE BONFIRES (In Boundaried Spaces),” a special mixed media art exhibit featuring over 30 artists who are guild members including Production Designers, Art Directors, Artists, Illustrators, Set Designers and others who work in the motion picture and television industries.

The exhibit opens with a hosted reception on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and runs through July 7, 2018. “Gallery 800 is proud to present a unique exhibition showcasing these talented artists,” says curator Abra Brayman. "LITTLE BONFIRES (In Boundaried Spaces) is a unique, mixed-media group show which is inspired by the poetic vision of the passionate, firebrand artist; working solo, but not alone.

For the first time we will be showing an exciting time-based media / VR (virtual reality) installation along with over 50 pieces of fine artwork.” Gallery 800’s exhibition will spotlight the artwork of two legendary Production Designers: BAFTA Nominated artist Brian Eatwell (The Abominable Dr. Phibes, The Man Who Fell to Earth, The Three Musketeers, The Four Musketeers and Wired) and Emmy Nominated Art Director John V. Cartwright (An Officer and a Gentleman, The Winds of War, First Monday in October, Kiss Me Goodbye). The featured guest artist will be John V. Cartwright's daughter, Angela Cartwright, a multi-talented fine artist, actress and child star best known for her roles in The Sound of Music, Lost In Space, Make Room for Daddy, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Logan's Run, among many others.

GALLERY 800
Located in the heart of the Noho Arts District, Gallery 800 showcases Guild members’ personal artwork in a series of shows throughout the year. These talented artists are leading art department professionals, who, through a combination of observation, passion and imagination, bring the writer's words and the director's vision to life in television and film.

When not working as integral creative members of the entertainment community, they contribute to the fine art scene with their personal artwork.

Since Gallery 800 opened its doors in March 2009, more than 700 ADG members have shown their artwork in the ongoing exhibitions.
